Expo Pakistan is a mega opportune trade fair in Pakistan where exports’ and locally consumed items’ collection is being showcased and million people visit the event including potential foreigners customers. It also generates big business deals for the industry.

Major activities of PAMCO at exhibition:

Being a facilitation body owned by Govt. of Punjab, PAMCO designs all activities keeping in view the awareness and facilitation of allied stakeholders. In this exhibition, PAMCO designed the following printing materials to create the awareness about socio economic impact of Livestock sector, Halal meat export, Livestock farming and other projects initiated by PAMCO.

Achievements

During 04 days, more than 600 visitors (local and foreigner) received the informative literature from PAMCO and raised queries about livestock farming, facilities and incentives given by PAMCO to famers, animal rearing and meat export procedures. Visitors took keen interest in other PAMCO’s projects including “Kitchen Gardening”, “Citrus Cultivation” and “Grapes Valley” etc. About 1500 brochures were distributed among visitors and they were quite satisfied by the information provided by PAMCO.

Some of the potential visitors include

ALAM Hypermarket, Abu Dhabi, was interested to import meat from Pakistan, MASHAD Meat Complex, Iran also showed interest in importing meat form Pakistan, Malaysians, UAE based importers and other Islamic countries were also interested in meat import.

As PAMCO is a facilitation body, so the biggest goal was to access the maximum people to aware them about the potential of Pakistani Livestock sector, Halal Branding and marketing and to give proper information about Pakistani meat sector to meat exporters, so it was accomplished.
