Imran Amjad fills top slot of PAMCO

      Imran Amjad has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer of Punjab Agriculture & Meat Company. PAMCO top slot was vacant since April. The then secretary L&DD Hamed Yaqoob Sheikh was given additional charge of CEO, later on new secretary L&DD, Irfan Elahi was provisioned as additional charge of PAMCO’s CEO. Meanwhile company advertised the slot and more than 30 applicants submitted their documents, after short listing on education and experience basis, Imran Amjad was finalized as CEO. He has got higher education from USA and worked in three different companies in USA for around 09 years before coming back to Pakistan and joining one of the leading dairy companies (Haleeb Foods). He worked there for over 14 years on various posts with last three years Chief Executive Officer. While talking on the occasion of orientation ceremony at PAMCO office, Imran Amjad said that being agri based economy; Pakistan has abundant opportunities to lead the international Halal market. According to the vision of CM Punjab, Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, PAMCO will take revolutionary steps to provide healthy and hygienic meat to locals and export markets.
